Privacy

Three required fields, one optional one. Nothing else is asked for. What you send is written to a database on the server that hosts this site, and to nowhere else.

• Name — so I know who I am writing back to.
• Email — so I can reply. It is the only way I will contact you.
• Message — the date, the room and the lineup.
• Links (optional) — a venue or event page, if there is one.
• Which language page you sent it from, and the time it arrived — so I can reply in the language you wrote in, and tell you how long a reply has been waiting.

Straight into a database on this site’s own server. There is no third-party form service: the form used to post to Web3Forms, and the site now runs the endpoint itself, so nothing you type is handed to anyone else. It stays in that database until you ask me to delete it, and I delete on request — see below. A spam filter also notes your network address when you submit, and throws that note away rather than keeping it.

Page views are counted with Plausible, which is cookieless: it sets no cookies, builds no profile and stores no personal data. It is the only thing on this site that measures anything.

This site sets no cookies of its own and loads no advertising or tracking scripts. SoundCloud and YouTube players are only requested after you press play, so a request to either platform happens only if you ask for one, and the video player uses the nocookie host, which does not set tracking cookies before playback.

Write to the address below and I will answer, or delete whatever you sent me. That is a real promise rather than a form one: your enquiry is a row in a database I control, so deleting it is something I can actually do. booking@maguldon.com
